Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, one of the schemes of the enemy is to cripple my sons in their ability to become the earthly fathers I designed them to be. He wounds them deeply in their own childhoods so that they will fail to love and cherish their children. Consequently, there are many sons and daughters who misunderstand and impugn my nature based on their personal earthly father experience or other negative events that hurt them. This saddens me deeply. My nature as your Father is to give you the best of all that I have. I desire to heal the wounds that you carry so that our relationship will fulfill you and affirm you. Forgiving others is the first step to your own healing and freedom. Try to put aside other’s failures and focus on my nature as your Heavenly Father. As you let go of the shortcomings of your earthly father you will learn what it means to live as a true son.

I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty (2 Cor 6:18)

If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him! Luke 11:11-13
