Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Many of life’s situations can cause you to despair, my son. However, you can have peace even in the most difficult crisis, because with each challenging situation, I extend a measure of grace which allows you to navigate those deep waters. Look at these words from Psalm 107:28-30: “Then they cry out to the Lord in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses. He calms the storm, so that its waves are still. Then they are glad because they are quiet; so He guides them to their desired haven.” Sometimes, my son, I allow you to be thrust into deep waters so you might discover that I am there and that my grace can supply all you need. Unless the disciples experienced the storm with my Son they never would have learned that He could calm the storm. You’ll never know me as your deliverer unless there is something to be delivered from.

And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!”
Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. But He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!” Luke 8:24, 25

For He commands and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up the waves of the sea. Psalm 107:24-26
